These doves are “garden doves” with a homing instinct of around 3-4 miles, these birds are not related to the doves we use for our release service which have taken years of selective breeding and training and should only be purchased for your own enjoyment in the garden, releasing these doves at a function would not only be cruel but also an embarrasment as these birds are likely to just fly up to nearest roof or tree
